Enviroseal LAS-320™ is recommended for the maintenance and care of asphalt concrete surfaces of roads, industrial and warehouse sites, gas stations, parking lots, airfields in order to reliably protect asphalt concrete surfaces and extend their service life between repairs.
The treated surface of asphalt concrete gets an excellent appearance, increases its wear resistance, provides hydrophobicity and frost resistance, as well as reliable protection from the harmful effects of the external environment, including the impact on the road surface of the sun and high temperatures while ensuring the standard coefficient of adhesion. Such a result is obtained due to the formation of reliable chemical bonds in asphalt concrete, as a result of deep penetration of impregnation into pores, microcracks and defects, and their clogging. Performance of work on surface treatment of asphalt concrete by impregnation is characterized by high manufacturability and simplicity. This type of work does not require special professional training. Enviroseal LAS-320™ is used to protect asphalt concrete surfaces and extend their service life between repairs. Under the influence of natural factors, the bituminous binder in the asphalt concrete coating loses its plastic properties and ages over time, and in cases where the asphalt concrete is not sufficiently compacted, pores and microcracks are formed in it, into which water penetrates. In the autumn-spring period, in such an asphalt concrete coating, when passing through 0°, its destruction occurs, which manifests itself due to peeling and staining of asphalt concrete. Impregnation blocks these processes and restores the initial physical and mechanical properties of asphalt concrete. There is an opportunity to extend the service life of the coating and reduce costs for its repair. Enviroseal LAS-320 can be used both for protection against natural erosion and for "rejuvenation" and repair of asphalt concrete coatings. Impregnation prevents the destruction of asphalt concrete caused by the spillage of petroleum products and other aggressive materials, including anti-icing reagents. Impregnation repels all liquid substances, is non-toxic and absolutely safe for people and the environment. There is no unpleasant smell. Works on application of impregnation are carried out at an ambient temperature of up to + 5 ° C and a relative humidity of no more than 80%. Supplied in barrels of 200 l. It is recommended to thoroughly mix the impregnation before use and then evenly apply it on a dry and clean surface, previously cleaned of sand and dirt. Material consumption is approximately 0.3 - 0.5 kg per m2, depending on the surface condition of the asphalt concrete coating. Application of impregnation is carried out by any distribution devices that ensure uniform distribution of impregnation with the required consumption. Small areas of asphalt concrete pavement are treated manually by impregnation using a conventional paint roller. A sprayer (paint gun, BCM 24.3 hole repair equipment, marking equipment), self-tendering agent or KDM can be used for impregnation treatment of large areas of the coating. As a rule, impregnation is applied to the coating twice. The technological break between the application of subsequent layers is about 30 minutes, and the protective layer treated by impregnation can withstand heavy rain 15 minutes after its application. The drying time of the treated surface depends on weather conditions (temperature and humidity). Intensive traffic through the area with the treated surface can be opened one hour after the treatment (with a speed limit of 60 km/h during the first day), and after 24 hours traffic can be carried out without restrictions. EnvirosealLAS-320 is one of the least expensive ways to preserve asphalt concrete. It is easier to cover an asphalt concrete surface with impregnation once, than to periodically change it completely.
