Enviroseal M10+50™ soil stabilizer

Polymer soil stabilizer Enviroseal M10+50 is a multicomponent liquid binder based on acrylic copolymer. It has a high technological application and belongs to the GREEN LINE technologies, being absolutely ecologically safe for human health and the environment. This soil stabilizer was developed specifically to significantly improve the physical and mechanical characteristics of the soil (strength, elasticity, water resistance, frost resistance) used in road construction. Manufactured by Enviroseal Corporation in the USA. It can be successfully used both as a single-component system and in combination with inorganic binders (cement, lime, fly ash) during road construction and repair works, including road repair using the "cold recycling" technology, for arranging the upper layers of the road surface the base or bottom layer of the coating. This combination of additives added to the processed soil mixture allows to obtain compositions with improved indicators of strength and elastic deflection. The results of such soil strengthening are significantly superior to bitumen emulsions or cements, which are usually used for this technology.
Enviroseal M10+50 soil stabilizer is used to strengthen soils with a plasticity number of no more than 12. Enviroseal M10+50 concentrate dissolves well in water in the required ratios. It works well together with the Enviroseal LBS clay soil stabilizer, which allows you to reduce the amount of plasticity of local soils to 12 and significantly expand the scope of application of the Enviroseal M10+50 stabilizer in terms of the type and amount of soil plasticity. When the polymer soil stabilizer Enviroseal M10+50, which enters into a chemical reaction with cement, is added to the "cement soil", strengthened soils acquire improved properties. This leads to an improvement in the deformation characteristics of reinforced soils and makes it possible to eliminate the main disadvantages of cement soils, such as: the formation of temperature and shrinkage cracks with their transfer (reflection) to the coating layers.
The results of laboratory studies of the polymer soil stabilizer Enviroseal M10+50 showed that the strengthening of sandy soil with a complex binder based on this stabilizer and cement (from 6 to 10%) allows to achieve an increase in the flexural strength index by 36.3-40, a decrease stiffness coefficient by 27.5-36.5%, reduction of cement consumption per unit of achieved tensile strength during bending by 26.7-33.6%, and also provides an increase in frost resistance in comparison with the cement-strengthened subsoil.
